Public Relations and Communications Officer

In this dynamic role, you will work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to steward a passionate and motivating internal culture that supports our member service philosophy. This will be accomplished by developing internal communications, training, and development initiatives that focus on branding and its impact on the organization’s reputation and member loyalty. In support of the TopLine brand, you will also work to create top-of-mind brand awareness for the credit union in the communities we serve. This will include identifying and implementing partnerships and sponsorships with local media, businesses, and organizations.

To be successful in this highly visible position, our ideal candidate will possess superior interpersonal skills and be able to develop positive, trusting relationships with both internal and external constituents. You will build credibility by consistently demonstrating high ethical standards and personal integrity. You must possess a four-year degree in communications, journalism, or public relations and have superior communication skills. Theoretical and practical knowledge of the financial services industry is highly preferred, as is PR agency experience and a solid understanding of both internal and external branding strategies. Working relationships with local media is desirable.

The Assistant Account Executive will:

  • Assist Public Relations team in developing, writing, and distributing press releases.
  • Assist with and manage client and target market research
  • Maintain archives of press/media usage
  • Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events
  • Research trends and seek opportunities where our clients may find increased visibility
  • Track clients’ coverage in the press and through our PR efforts
  • Collaborate with the PR team and all disciplines within the agency to produce effective and results-oriented campaigns
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism or related field
  • Public Relations experience preferred (internship experience is acceptable)
  • Impeccable time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to coordinate projects from inception to completion and meet demanding deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Previous agency experience is desired

    Archiver's - Marketing Coordinator



    Archiver's, the Photo Memory Store, is an exciting retail company that specializes in helping our customers organize, preserve and display their photographs by giving them the products, tools and information they need to preserve their precious memories.

    We are growing rapidly and have a great opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator at our corporate office in Minnetonka. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and executing the new store promotion programs, maintaining the promotional tracking system and supporting the Marketing department by generating and distributing program results, reports, calendars, timelines and schedules.

    Specific Responsibilities/Projects:
  • Generate and distribute marketing program results, reports and calendars as needed, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Includes reporting on promotions, offers, activities, and workshop/mania sign-ups.
  • Coordinate timelines and execution of new-store promotions program (email, direct mail, newspaper advertising)
  • Assign, input, maintain and report on all marketing promotional codes
  • Manage new-store promotional materials process and timelines
  • Coordinate timelines and details of select projects, gathering products and information needed by marketing and creative staff. May include direct mail, emails, PR and local marketing
  • Coordinate and track all marketing invoices
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:
  • 4 year college degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business
  • 1-2 years experience in a corporate office setting
  • Strong PC ability required – Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, experience necessary
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a part of a team
