Media Results Administrator - Kohnstamm Communications

Kohnstamm Communications is in need of a Media Results Administrator. This person would be responsible for managing print, web and CD/DVD media results and providing daily documentation from media placements for client reporting.

In addition, the media results administrator supports and coordinates maintenance of the Kohnstamm Communications website and print promotional pieces and provides client research, mailing support coordination and other administrative duties as assigned.

Key skills needed:
Mac computer user, graphic design production in print and web, Web search and online application use. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Apple's iLife Suite and Microsoft Office. Director of Marketing and Communications

The College of St. Catherine, the nation’s largest private Catholic women’s college is now accepting applications for a full-time Director of Marketing and Communications.

Responsibilities: As a member of the College’s proactive External Relations team, the Director of Marketing and Communications manages the College’s marketing and communications function for both internal and external constituencies. This position develops and monitors all external College messages for consistency, accuracy, dynamism and advocacy of the College’s vision, strategic priorities and competitive advantages. This position demands marketing and branding expertise, anticipation, broad scope, marketing awareness, public relations sensitivity, media sense and visionary possibilities. The incumbent must demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills consistent with a nationally leading academic institution that educates women to lead and influence. The director must articulate messages rooted in the College’s commitment to its Catholic traditions. The incumbent must also manage those charged with the various aspects of the College’s marketing and communications activities, encouraging them to work aggressively and proactively as they collaborate to assure that the College claims its rightful place in a very competitive market place. This position will help the College achieve national visibility. The director will manage a team of marketing/communications professionals.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field, and five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in managing a comprehensive marketing and communications operation. Advanced degree preferred. Extensive experience developing and leading a strategic media relations program, building and implementing a marketing plan, creating a strong brand, demonstrated success in building and managing a team of marketing and public relations professionals, demonstrated experience collaborating and developing effective relationships with staff members, peers, senior administrators, trustees and external constituencies. Prefer past experience in higher education; a broad network of contacts in the Twin Cities.

The Senior Interactive Strategist is responsible for developing, advancing and implementing interactive/digital business strategies for agency clients. Position requires excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to lead effective client presentations.

• Participate in overall strategic planning by identifying interactive opportunities and translating them into effectively integrated digital initiatives
• Develop interactive strategy briefs that encapsulate and support business objectives
