Polaris - Mgr, Mktg Communications

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

SUMMARY:
Focuses on launching go-to-market strategies to strengthen the Pure Polaris brand and increase revenue through integrated consumer/dealer awareness sales/ marketing programs.

INTERNAL MARKETING DEVELOPMENT:
Marketing Communications
  • Works in conjunction with the Pure Polaris Marketing Manager on strategic management of new product launches for Pure Polaris
  • Works with Sales to develop marketing support/sales tools for Pure Polaris and Financial Services to include POP, merchandising and sell through programs based on revenue goals for division and tying into current corporate market branding
  • Works with dealer development to identify retail strategies/key products/store planograms for dealer network
  • Develops Pure Polaris marketing programs that tie into corporate direct mails, promotions events, market research
  • Develops and coordinates communication for dealers, sales force, customer service and internal management on all Pure Polaris marketing programs
  • Manages and communicates all competitive information including competitive marketing library, current competitive marketing/sales programs. Analyzes and identifies trends and makes recommendations for data, sales information and competitive markets to drive results

  • EXTERNAL MARKETING DEVELOPMENT:


    Dealer/Sales Tools
  • Develops communication plan/training for dealers to better understand Pure Polaris products as well as new product launches
  • Conducts dealer and competitive retail visits with a focus on Pure Polaris and F&I and completes retail reports with recommendations
  • Promotions
  • Creates and prepares objectives and recommendation for promotions and direct mails to increase sales based on key products and sales forecast
  • Tracks Pure Polaris promotions and works with corporate to create summary reports
  • Manages creative, production and distribution of promotions.
  • Integrates with Divisional Marketing managers to identify and execute joint promotions
  • Public Relations
  • Identify and execute key PR opportunities for the Pure Polaris Division.
  • Work with corporate communications to develop press kits/releases for the Pure Polaris Division
  • Integrate with corporate Marketing Communications and Divisional Marketing Managers to combine efforts and identify key PR opportunities
  • Develop and Manage the PR photo library and track press releases
  • Present and ensure Pure Polaris representation at Press Events
  • Requirements:

    SKILLS:
  • Bachelors degree in marketing or related field
  • 6 years in marketing/sales related field required.
  • Strong organizational/verbal/written/communication/analytical skills desired.
  • Proficient in office software including Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Oracle software a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment
  • Must be able to work under pressure and proactively meet deadlines while maintaining cooperative attitude.

  • ENVIRONMENT:

    Standard office setting in a fast-paced environment. Some travel required.
