Vega Productions looking for PR Volunteers

The founder and president of Vega Productions, a very young 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing music and art education in the MN public school system, is producing another high-profile benefit event and needs volunteers.

On March 14th, produced their second benefit show, "A Night for Lyndale Elementary", which was held at First Ave's main room and featured 4 bands, guest speakers including U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, a performance painter and celebrity guest MC, Emmy winning news anchor Robyne Robinson. Vega raised just over $15,000 for the school's music program.

Up to now, Vega has done PR internally but with its growth, they need help on the PR side of things. Vega is currently in the process of writing grants and trying to secure donations to fund future benefit events.

Vega is looking to get the word out about the upcoming presentation ceremony of instruments and a big check for Lyndale Elementary as this could really help them gain some visibility in the community.

At their up coming event Vega will have some high-profile attendees including Robyne Robinson and Fox 9, State Senator Linda Berglin, hopefully Mayor R.T. Ryback, executives from Schmitt Music, reps from First Ave, and band members who played the event.
