As the Corporate Communications Manager for Jostens, you'll work closely with business and corporate functions to identify and address communications opportunities with planning and communications process and project development, along with implementation and project management for assigned areas. This position provides communications counsel and services that include internal communications, media and public relations and community affairs. Audiences include employees, independent sales representatives, customers, the media and the community.
Requirements for this position include a minimum 8 years of experience in communications including public relations and a thorough and demonstrated understanding of the corporate communications function. You'll need strong experience in communications strategy and planning and hands-on implementation, experience with electronic and print communications vehicles and an ability to collaborate with people at all levels of the organization, including diverse external audiences. You must have an ability to work independently to assimilate facts and synthesize plans to most appropriately position information with key audiences, flexibility, high work ethic, and an ability to have fun as part of dynamic team. Travel up to 20% is possible, generally at your discretion. An undergraduate degree in a communications-related major is required, as is strong verbal and written communications skills. Experience with youth and education audiences is preferred.
