The Caldrea Company, founded in 1999, is a fast-growing creator of household cleaning products with a mission to create a premier cleaning experience with products that are highly effective, consistently earth-friendly and an absolute pleasure to use.
Primary Function:
Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all marketing activities for Caldrea. Manage strategic development of all aspects of brand strategy including advertising, promotions, guerilla marketing, market research, and product launches. Oversee all marketing agencies and activities. Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan changes as needed.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy, Planning and Implementation
- Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing strategy designed to maximize revenues and profits for Caldrea
- Ensure consistency of desired brand image and positioning for Caldrea
- Research market trends, sales history and competitive information to create and plan creative and effective strategies and tactics
- Provide strategic and creative direction for marketing materials (catalogs, newsletters, e-commerce, etc.)
- Plan and manage budgets
- Work closely with research and development to launch meaningful products and collections
- Assess competitive set for new products and concepts
- Develop, implement and manage advertising strategy for Caldrea
- Ensure Caldrea has distinctive creative approach, yet able to leverage corporate buys
- Manage agency partners including strategic planning, creative development and implementation
- Proactively identify opportunities for increased exposure and impact through promotional incentives to increase sales – direct mail, coupons, in-store displays, etc.
- Assist Caldrea sales team with annual programs/campaigns for major accounts
- Develop and execute creative, interruptive marketing tactics to gain awareness and prompt trial of products
- Research and select local events for involvement; establish priorities and execute programs
- Bachelors degree in marketing, journalism or communications
- 5+ years marketing experience, focus in consumer packaged goods
- Proven leadership abilities
