- Ongoing development and implementation of internal SMM strategy
- Serve as a C-level strategic counselor to clients and team members
- Evolve with the digital/interactive industry and provide strategic value related to industry trends (e.g., metrics, measurement, social software, open web)
- Lead internal staff development in the digital and interactive space

Qualifications
- • 10 – 15 years experience; classic PR background, consulting/agency
- experience and a minimum of five years of demonstrated digital/interactive
- experience is required; solid interest in applying digital and interactive
- solutions to PR strategies
- • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in public relations, communications, marketing
- or related field of study
- Actively engaged in local (Twin Cities or current location) via social media;cclose familiarity with national digital/social media scene Updated 8/20/09
- Strong social media/interactive PR case study portfolio that can be leveragedcwith current and prospective clients (large platforms and programs preferred)
- Proven management of social media programs, including measurement, analysis and merchandising
- Understands and uses Internet tools, technologies for personal and professional use (e.g., search engines, video, Web 2.0+, new media, blogging, social media marketing, online publishing tools)
- Passionate about quickly evolving social media environment and digital landscape — but not a self-proclaimed “social media guru”
- Proven experience managing crises with social media implications or has used online tools in the response to manage a brand’s reputation online and offline (preferred)
- Has a good sense of humor, a positive attitude, an open mind and can help make Beehive a great place to work every day
