Kroll Ontrack - Corporate Public Relations Specialist

The Corporate PR Specialist will work closely with the Worldwide Public Relations Manager to execute global PR strategy and manage day-to-day PR activity in support of positioning Kroll Ontrack as a global expert in the legal and information management industries.​ This individual will be expected to conduct media relations and industry relations activity as well as work closely with the rest of the Marketing and Product Management staff to brainstorm ideas and develop plans regarding the execution of PR tactics.​

Business travel requirements: 15%​ domestic travel expected; includes attending media tours, events where media will be present, etc.​

  • Project management in the execution of corporate PR plans in support of the consulting and investigations, discovery, trial, data recovery, and software business lines.​
  • Create original, consistent corporate, product line and initiative key messages.​
  • Coordinate communication of global PR strategy and manage PR agency relationships worldwide.​
  • Create original corporate news releases, media pitches, speaking proposals and byline articles.
  • Facilitate corporate approval process for PR content.​
  • Produce high quality news placements and analyst reports.​
  • Create and manage original, global PR results reports.​
  • Develop and manage corporate customer reference program.​
  • Serve as copy editor for market-facing content (i.​e.​ advertisements, bylines, collateral, Web content, etc.​)
Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Public Relations is required.​ Two to four years of experience in Public Relations or a related field with both agency and corporate experience preferred.​ Experience writing marketing content using Internet and/​or Web-based technologies.​ Knowledge of the legal, information management, or software industries with experience in a high-tech company preferred.​ Project Management experience a plus.​
