Account Executive – Consumer PR team lead


Assistant Account Executive

Kohnstamm Communications, a Twin Cities-based public relations firm with a national client roster, is seeking applicants for two new position openings: Account Executive/ Consumer PR team lead and an Assistant Account Executive.

The Account Executive must be an experienced PR pro who knows how to work directly with clients, and has demonstrated results with consumer media and top-tier influencers, preferably with solid PR agency experience. We are especially interested in public relations professionals with sector expertise and industry knowledge with organic and natural products, food and beverage or beauty and fashion sectors. If you have 3-4 years or more of PR-specific experience, strong writing and team-leading/supervisory skills, we would like to speak with you about becoming our newest account executive.

The Assistant Account Executive must have the skill to unhesitatingly contact and interact with the national news media, and the poise and maturity to interact with our clients. If you have a degree in marketing or PR, several PR internships under your belt or previous agency experience including strong writing and organizational skills, we would like to speak with you about becoming our newest assistant account executive.

Qualifications

  • Professional expertise demonstrated through 10+​ years of industry related experience within the architecture/​design industry
  • Strong leadership and self-motivation skills and abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and persuasively communicate and promote ideas and campaigns to clientele, business representatives and company personnel
  • Demonstrates ability to promote and establish teamwork and individual leadership within business development department and develop creative and original marketing campaign
  • Strong with use of Microsoft Office applications; experience with Deltek Vision CRM is a plus
  • Excellent time management and organization skills; ability to multi-task
