LaBreche is seeking Senior Account Executive

LaBreche is currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Senior Account Executive. Senior Account Executives manage teams of LaBreche professionals to plan and implement public relations programs for a variety of existing clients in many industries. This individual will be responsible for managing accounts in all aspects and providing strategic/solid thinking to clients.

Key Objectives:
  • Advocate for the client, their business and their goals through account team leadership and collaboration
  • Develop and execute account strategies and activities
  • Manage workflow to ensure the LaBreche standard of work is met and the client’s expectations are met and exceeded
  • Think strategically and creatively
  • Participate in new business efforts
  • Mentor and coach junior staff
Qualifications and experience:
  • 3-5 years PR experience, agency experience preferred
  • Extensive experience developing client plans and budgets
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience leading teams of 2-5
  • Ability to take direction from clients and department heads
  • Strong social media experience required
  • Healthcare experience required
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate the potential 24-hour nature of clients needs
  • Crisis communications experience a plus
  • Media training experience preferred

We have a great opportunity for a part-time administrative intern looking to build on their office skills. Padilla Speer Beardsley, a communications and public relations firm, is looking for someone to provide administrative support for our agriculture and environmental sciences team. It's a three-month, paid internship with a possibility of being extended through the end of May. This is a great opportunity for a student to work in a public relations agency and get some experience working in a business.

The administrative intern will support a busy department on a wide variety of projects. To be considered for the position you must have three to six months experience working in a busy office setting using strong computer and proofreading skills. Haberman — Modern Storyteller — Public Relations Account Manager

Overview: Haberman is a brand public relations (PR) agency dedicated to discovering, developing and telling the stories of pioneering organizations and individuals who make the world a better place. We seek a PR pro who can expertly lead execution on consumer and business-to-business (B2B) accounts, as well as help develop the strategy behind the messaging and campaigns we create for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and help implement comprehensive PR and cause-related/grassroots marketing campaigns for clients on both a local and national level.
  • Develop and execute issues advocacy campaigns and “movements” using traditional and new media.
  • Understand issues and/or causes relevant to our clients and create messaging that persuasively expresses client positions.
  • Serve as lead on client accounts, including managing retainer or project budgets.
  • Partner with Haberman’s interactive team to develop and execute creative Web and social media campaigns/projects.
  • Partner with Haberman’s design team to develop and execute design strategies that support traditional PR and interactive campaigns/projects.
  • Support Haberman’s new business initiatives by sourcing prospects, attending meetings with prospective clients, creating proposals, etc.
 
Experience/Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of PR experience
  • PR agency experience required
  • Experience representing marquee consumer brands a plus
  • Ability to lead national PR, advocacy campaigns/projects for consumer and B2B clients
  • Excellent rapport-building skills, including with C-level executives
  • Intellectual curiosity; up-to-date knowledge of current events
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings
  • Healthy sense of humor and out-of-bounds creativity
  • Solid writing and editing skills
  • Ability to generate measurable results from grassroots PR, media relations programs
  • Experience integrating interactive and design strategies into PR campaigns
