**Internship anticipated to be from January 1, 2011 - May 15, 2011**
Carries out community relations, public policy and research-related projects as assigned by Director of Community & Government Relations and Communications Specialists assigned to Community & Government Relations. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Education: Currently enrolled or recent graduate of an accredited college program with an emphasis in public policy, government, business or related field.
Experience: Must have excellent research, writing and verbal communication skills. Must be able to interact with colleagues, vendors and the public in a professional manner. Excellent customer service skills required. Experience with standard computer hardware and software required. Research experience in health care and/or public policy preferred but not required.
