Snap Fitness - Social Media Coordinator

Snap Fitness, the leading franchisor of compact, state-of-the-art fitness centers worldwide, seeks a full-time social media coordinator to develop and maintain the social media presence for Snap Fitness and our executive leadership team, using platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.

The ideal candidate will be creative, organized and highly-motivated, working with our Communications Manager and third-party agencies to create social media initiatives that will drive traffic and sales to the company, while increasing overall brand awareness online. This is
the perfect role for a self-starter who wants to work in a fast-growing organization, with the ability to enhance our social networking presence for the long-term.

Job responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing campaigns for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social media channels to build brand awareness, increase traffic and revenue streams.
  • Create and manage content syndicating it across selected networks and channels to increase exposure and awareness.
  • Drive and measure traffic sent from social media efforts.
  • Establish benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media efforts and monitor trends.
  • Review and understand our existing social media channels and incorporate into launch plan.
  • Stay current with social media trends, language and resources on how to best promote awareness.
  • Serve as the “voice” of our organization in the social media space, answering questions where appropriate and engaging in conversations with our target market.
  • Educate colleagues on social media awareness and how to use the tools available.
  • Maintain an appropriate schedule to include updating material and researching trends in the social media community.
  • Track press distributions across online and print media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field preferred.
  • Extremely passionate, high degree of creativity and knowledgeable in social networking.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
