Strategic Marketing Internship

We are looking for a college intern to join our Strategic Marketing team for a part-time assignment, March through June, with the potential for continuing part-time employment for an additional 90 days. The analytical intern will focus on projects benefiting the Surgical Urology marketing organization. Key projects and objectives of the position include:

* Develop business models for various commercialization alternatives
* Research market opportunities
* Conduct competitor analyses
* Build market models, based on medical indications and geographies
* Quantify multiple qualitative inputs
* Estimate NPVs for internal and external technology development alternatives
* Prepare executive level summaries and presentations of the projects listed above
* Contribute to and support the development of a 3 month strategic planning process, as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Conduct secondary market research utilizing research reports, SEC filings and investor presentations, and internal data sources, on market and technology opportunities
* Build Excel-based market and business models
* Prepare Excel and PowerPoint presentation materials
* Consult with Marketing and R&D staff to tap internal expertise
* Assist the Sr. Manager, Strategic Marketing, as requested

Qualifications

* Minimum Junior status in undergraduate program, MBA student preferred
* Major in Marketing or Finance fields preferred
* Experience with market analysis strongly preferred
* Possesses strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Strong Excel skills required
* Strong PowerPoint skills preferred
