Job Summary:
The Marketing Communications Coordinator will work closely with members of the marketing communications team and the Business Unit Managers to support implementation of marketing campaigns and tactics. Key focus areas include tradeshows, sales tools and production of marketing materials. Coordinate with international tradeshows and tools as necessary.
Responsibilities Include:
Tradeshow Coordination
· Coordinate U.S. tradeshows/meetings preparation and logistics, including registration, attendance, targeted booth layout and product displays, signage, sales materials, hotel, shipping and packing.
· Manage tradeshow materials and preparedness; update, modify, change-out and redesign booth, products and signage in conjunction with strategic product plans and new product launches.
· Organize Colder and show vendors for efficient, cost-effective, timely outcomes.
· Facilitate communication with Regional marketing personnel and the business unit managers for international shows.
· Manage and coordinate product and booth availability, shipping and set up amongst divergent tradeshow calendars and geographies.
· Ensure display and messaging alignment with strategic plans and business unit manager goals.
· Collate, disseminate, monitor and report percentage of leads versus percentage of company sales for business unit.
Marketing and Public Relations Support
· Participate in campaign and message development as member of marketing communications team.
· Working with the marketing manager and business unit managers, develop prospect lists and disseminate to sales teams.
· Organize vendors, coordinate print and electronic production of marketing materials, ensure accuracy, timeliness and cost-effectiveness.
· Monitor and measure traditional and social media effectiveness; conduct environmental scans to assess new trends and competitors’ practices.
· Working with Fulfillment Specialist, ensure proper inventory levels of marketing materials, and coordinate literature numbers
· Draft announcements, bios and other marketing copy as needed; provide design assistance and coordination as needed.
· Archive marketing material samples
· Manage Distributor Resource Guide Updates and Direct Hits production
· Coordinate Marketing and Sales Bulletins
· Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs
Required Qualifications:
· 1-3 years employment or internship in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, advertising, promotions
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Intermediate level computer skills (MS Office, web savvy)
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Proven, effective writing skills
· Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Familiar with applications of social media as a business tool.
