3M - Student Program Internships

This position is limited to working 899 hours per service credit year. This particular internship opportunity will support research and development related to industrial design, working on project teams to translate market input into innovative designs. Successful candidates must have a developing aesthetic sense, the ability to utilize technologies of the design discipline such as sketching and physical modeling, and electronic modeling skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, Alias/ProE/UG). Additional knowledge or skills in product creation processes, methods, materials, and best practices will be expected. This position offers paid travel expenses as well as subsidized housing for non-local interns. Qualifications Basic/Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree OR HIGHER Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale Preferred Qualifications: Previous 3M internship experience Previous industrial design based internship experience Current status as a Junior or a Senior if pursuing Bachelor's degree Interest in pursuing a career specific to industrial design Employment Statement Apply now for this exciting opportunity with 3M. 3M is an EEO/AA employer.
