Builders Association of the Twin Cities Foundation Internship Opportunity

The BATC Foundation internship provides an excellent opportunity for students interested in communications, public relations, marketing, nonprofit management and event planning. The intern must positively represent BATC's objectives and will gain practical experience in marketing the BATC Foundation, assisting in grant applications, organizing events and developing communications materials telling our foundation story.
This internship program is designed to adapt to the changing world of nonprofit management and foundations. The Builders Association of the Twin Cities Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 charitable organization. The Foundation's mission is to make a difference in the housing situation for Twin Cities residents one home at a time.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Assisting with the writing, development, and production of promotional pieces for events, Foundation projects and grant applications.
  • Conduct interviews and gather information for use in BATC and BATC Foundation publications. 
  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of events, such as golf tournaments, Parade of Homes Dream Homes and Dream Remodel Homes, House Warmings for New Homeowners, Silent Auctions and Home Show Garage Sale.
  • Our intern may be using a variety of software including Illustrator, InDesign, Quark Xpress, Survey Monkey, Mail Chimp and standard Microsoft Office software. 
Time Commitment:
5-15 hours per week. We prefer a commitment of a minimum of 10 weeks.


Eligible participants must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution. Preference will be given to those possessing strong communication and organizational skills. The candidate need not be from a non-profit background.
