Haberman - Digital Advertising Strategist/Digital Connection Planner

Overview: Haberman is a Minneapolis-based media and marketing firm whose mission is to discover, develop and tell the stories of pioneering organizations and individuals who make the world a better place. We seek a Digital Advertising Strategist/Digital Connection Planner who is proficient in interactive marketing and can support a variety of interactive advertising-based activities. This individual should be both knowledgeable and curious about creating holistic online experiences on behalf of clients.

Haberman boasts a rapidly growing interactive department, and this position will serve a key role as this group continues to expand. This individual will work directly with the agency’s Interactive Director and account teams to develop creative and effective campaigns/strategies that benefit our clients and our world. A sampling of campaign themes include fighting diabetes, supporting family farms, and recruiting the next generation of educational leaders in Minnesota.

  •  Develop, plan, implement, report and analyze digital advertising campaigns in various online outlets. 
  • Manage digital advertising projects in partnership with a variety of internal team members, including design and professional services colleagues 
  • Identify, recommend and implement new landing pages for A/B testing on search engines and oversee the process (with outside partners) 
  • Create strategic roadmaps for lead generation and e-commerce growth incorporating tactics of search and social media 
  • Build relationships and become a trusted advisor in the area of online advertising 
  • Summarize and communicate the status of all campaigns with internal and external teams 
  • Manage and assist in the preparation of interactive communications materials for clients, including researching, producing and/or editing content such as plans, content grids, personas, etc. 
  • Research, implement and maintain both new and existing search engine optimization efforts for clients 
  • Research, gather and analyze relevant information to support clients’ interactive marketing campaigns 
  • Share digital advertising trends and opportunities with internal team and clients
Experience/Skills Required:
  • 3-5 years experience with direct SEM, campaign promotions, A/B testing and bid management • Interactive or marketing agency experience a strong plus
  • Ability to lead and support interactive campaigns/programs and planning for consumer and B2B clients and generate measurable results 
  • A firm understanding of interactive marketing and online media strategy 
  • Solid knowledge of metrics and results-driven optimization 
  • Google Certification is a nice-to-have related to - Google Adwords, Google Display, and/or Google Analytics 
  • Experience utilizing PPC management and website analytics tools and generating reports • Experience in developing and executing SEO plans 
  • Intellectual curiosity and analytical focus; up-to-date knowledge of current events and interactive trends 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication and presentation settings 
  • Healthy sense of humor and out-of-bounds creativity 
  • Solid writing skills 
  • Tremendously organized with outstanding time management skills
