<><><><><><><>Covidien is seeking a Summer Marketing Communications Intern to support the Peripheral Vascular Marketing department with Project work around Graphic Design and Web development.

Principal Accountabilities
• Graphic Design work for print and digital projects.
• Communications responsibility for editing and proofreading projects
• Project management work to assist with the rebrand of existing ev3 materials to the Covidien brand
• Assist with organizational structure of our source design and creative files
• Development of tools and training for sales presentations through the iPad
• Additional project work that supports current marketing initiatives.

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field with a 3.0 GPA or better
• Prior related work experience preferred, but not required

• Strong communications (written and verbal), organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Good attention to detail
• Experience working in Adobe creative suite version 4 or higher
• Experience working with Dreamweaver and HTML
• Desire to learn digital applications
• Strong organization skills and good attention to detail
• Self-directed individual, with excellent follow through
• High standard of integrity

• Understands AP style
• Demonstrated ability to write
