Two positions open at Padilla Speer Beardsley


Padilla Speer Beardsley is seeking candidates for two positions in its expanding marketing research and insights group.
  • The senior analyst will lead all aspects of research projects. 
  • The analyst will be responsible for leading secondary research initiatives across the agency and supporting primary research projects.

Senior Research and Insights Analyst, Minneapolis

Responsibilities:

·         Lead the design of qualitative and quantitative research projects by consulting with internal and external clients regarding their business questions, then translating those into specific research objectives and selecting the appropriate research method.
·         Lead the flawless execution of the research projects, coordinating and conducting tasks such as sample selection and respondent screening, questionnaire or discussion-guide development, interviewing, analysis, and identification of implications and insights.
·         Create reports that provide actionable results and clear direction to clients, synthesizing information across multiple sources, clearly and creatively communicating the findings and making specific recommendations regarding the business question.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

·         BA/BS degree, including coursework in business and/or analytic areas of study. An advanced degree is strongly preferred.
·         A minimum of five-plus years of marketing research or related experience.
·         Deep experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative primary research, as well as secondary research, using online databases and reference tools.
·         Excellent ability to synthesize results across multiple sources.
·         Excellent writing skills.
·         Excellent critical-thinking skills.
·         Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
·         Experience in research methods, sampling and statistics.
·         Ability to synthesize quantitative data and qualitative findings into final reports that clearly communicate results to clients.
·         Expertise with analytic software, such as SPSS
·         Ability to develop positive, productive relationships with clients and peers, and to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing.




Research and Insights Analyst, Minneapolis

Responsibilities:

·         Assist in executing qualitative and quantitative research projects.  Tasks include programing online questionnaires, conducting interviews, coding open-ended responses, and creating tables and charts.
·         Lead secondary research initiatives, finding information for clients and prospective clients from existing sources, such as online databases and reference tools.
·         Draft research reports, including summarizing key results, synthesizing qualitative learning, integrating secondary research findings, identifying implications, uncovering insights, and developing business recommendations.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

·         BA/BS degree, including coursework in business and/or analytic areas of study. An advanced degree is preferred.
