University of Minnesota - Web Content & Email Marketing manager

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Art or related field, or 4 years combined equivalent education and experience. Previous experience in content management, web development and/or design.

.. Experience working with Lyris ListManager, Netitor, or similar bulk email software
.. Experience with Google Analytics

.. Understanding of email marketing metrics and reporting
.. Previous managerial experience
.. Experience in creating and managing a web editorial calendar
.. Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
  


Gopher Athletics is looking for a self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content management, web editing/design and overall website management. The Web Content & Email Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and/or acquiring content for the websites they manage. This person is also responsible for all email communication, both constructing and distributing emails. This position will work closely with several business units within Gopher Athletics to help produce and edit each website and email communication.

Web content management
.. Manage all pages on MyGopherSports.com and GoldenGopherFund.com
.. Write, collect and update new content for web pages
.. Maintain editorial calendar to ensure all content is up-to-date on MyGopherSports.com and GoldenGopherFund.com
.. Utilize Photoshop to create features and other graphics for MyGopherSports.com and GoldenGopherFund.com
.. Coordinate with Creative team to design all assets for each website
.. Use Google analytics to understand how to optimize each website
.. Assist in developing each website to maximize user experience and enhance sales opportunities

Email Marketing
.. Coordinate with all external business units to manage and implement email campaigns and e-newsletters using the AudienceView Correspondence tool and the Netitor Fanbase tool
.. Use HTML templates to build and test each email, verifying copy, layout and links as well as assess and address any spam risks.
.. Work with Business Analyst to manage and maintain email distribution lists
.. Deploy emails and monitor any delivery issues
.. Analyze and distribute reports on results of email campaigns to improve future performance
.. Use reporting and business best practices to improve on each email marketing campaign
