professional who is self-motivated, detail oriented, and has the ability to manage
multiple projects. Our ideal candidate will be excited about this rewarding
volunteer opportunity, recognizing the impact of his/her contribution to our
important mission. The position will work 20 hours, have a flexible work schedule,
and will be based in Edina, Minnesota
Summary/Job Responsibilities:
- Identify corporations, businesses, and organizations for our Erik’s
- Minnesota Adventures program
- Assist with event planning details and coordination of fundraising events
- Review foundation grant proposals
- Contact media outlets and organizations for potential speaking engagements
- Support cookie baking operation with coordination and other various tasks
- Assist with administrative tasks as necessary
- Experience in marketing/business/public relations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Conscientious and detail oriented
- Quick learner and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
- Familiarity and experience with social media
- Proficient in research methodologies and practices
