CSM - Marketing Coordinator

POSITION PURPOSE

This position is responsible for providing CSM Internal Communications, Social Media, Reputation Monitoring, Marketing Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Department. In addition, this position provides administrative support and coordination of the Vice President, Sales and Marketing and serves as a liaison to Human Resources team for publication of new hires, promotions, etc. Supports CSM Circle of Excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Internal/External Communications: Serves as communications liaison with Human Resources department to assure that all new hires, promotions and transfers are published throughout CSM internal communications systems and are either uploaded into online applications or transmitted to appropriate Public Relations agency. Assures CSM internal communications organs are up to date and accurate. Writes, edits and proofs singular distribution press releases. Serves as the primary communications conduit between Vice President, Sales and Marketing and outside Public Relations agencies.

2. Administrative Support: Provides administrative support (mail, word processing, spreadsheets, general clerical, and creates reports) for the Vice President, Sales and Marketing members of the Sales and Marketing department. Coordinates travel plans and calendars for field sales organization. Become department expert on the copy machine and handle relevant maintenance. Keep marketing closet well organized and clean.

3. Sales Administration: Primary system administrator for CSM Circle of Excellence. Administrates awards certificates, trophies, quarterly and annual awards. Works in conjunction with conference planning committee in preparation for the CM/AGM and GM/DOS Conferences. Produces weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for Sales and Marketing team in conjunction with Delphi/DMPE System Administrator and Revenue and Financial Analyst.

4. Field Marketing Support: Serves as proofing resources for brand resources and all field marketing assignments. Provides project scheduling and billing services as needed for CSM corporate marketing team.

5. Project Support: Assists Marketing staff on regular and special projects. Examples include: company intranets, planning and executing employee recognition events, assistance in coordination of company newsletter, social media sites (i.e., LinkedIn, Facebook, FourSquare, etc.)

6. Learning & Development Assistance: Coordinates registration; prepares and distributes materials, updates intranet, enter attendee for S.I.T.E. and other Sales Training programs

7. Reputation Monitoring: Responsible for monitoring, reporting and facilitating communication with hotels and residential communities with data gathered from various reputation monitoring sites.

Other Projects: Support or take lead on other Sales and Marketing projects as assigned. Look for ways to improve and streamline processes. 


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Education: Associates Degree in Journalism or related field preferred. Project assistance experience requested.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Minimum of three years of experience in a similar support/administrative position;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Above average technical skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio and Social Media applications
• Must be able to be flexible, take initiative, have strong detail orientation and be able to follow through independently;
• Ability to keep employee information in complete confidence;
• Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a fast paced environment.
• Basic understanding of process improvement and a willingness to identify new ways to do things.
