The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for leading teams, managing communications and client relations across several industries. Duties include development, implementation and coordination of consumer public relations and social media programs in sectors ranging from food and beverage to specialized branding. The SAE serves as a key contact to clients and works closely with the Kohnstamm management team to strategize, facilitate, brainstorm and manage accounts to drive results. Candidates must have 5+ years of hands-on PR experience and possess demonstrated social media and media relations program results with a track record of national and regional editorial placements.
The Senior Account Executive must understand how businesses work and possess solid knowledge in current and future business policies, practices, trends and information affecting his/her client disciplines. A dedication to meeting client expectations, ability to handle ambiguity and solve problems, and a focus on achieving results are key attributes for success.
The SAE will act as a collaborative and consultative client partner, must possess advanced written, verbal and presentation communication skills, a self-directed nature and a natural ability to excel as part of a cohesive team. As a skilled time manager, the SAE candidate needs to show a demonstrated ability to manage and measure output while moving multiple key priorities forward simultaneously — on time and within budget.
