The Goodman Group - communications/public relations intern

The Goodman Group, a national leader in senior living and healthcare, and residential communities for nearly 50 years, is seeking a multi-talented team player senior in college or with a four-year degree in communications, PR, or related field. Five-month, full-time, paid internship of $14 per hour begins in May, with potential longer-term opportunities. 

Intern will be exposed to wide array of corporate communications and community projects and activities. Duties will include strong emphasis on writing for external and internal communications, press release development and distribution, media outreach and research, project planning, as well as social media and general project assistance. Enthusiasm and attention to detail are musts.

The Assistant Account Executive (AAE) is expected to be a self-starter able to integrate and work closely with other Kohnstamm teams.  This position has exposure to clients, actively builds relationships, begins owning projects, and focuses on increasing knowledge of industry issues.   The AAE will have a pulse on the competitive and industry landscape and be able to take the lead on projects and reactive requests.
