We are seeking a skilled Content/Community Specialist to join our Marcom team. Reporting to the Global PR manager, this position develops and edits content and assists in managing HON social communities.

1. Planning
·         Work closely with marketing and sales to identify content ideas.
·         Develop and manage content calendar.
·         Develop and manage community outreach initiatives.

2. Writing/Editing
·         Write marketing material for various uses including social media content, email and websites.
·         Create and maintain brand voice and craft brand messages across all platforms.
·         Strong copy editing and proofreading skills.
·         Make content shareable in multi-media.

3. Functional Effectiveness.
·         Manage content and community on behalf of the LOB, driving best practices.
·         Continually improve scale and increase efficiencies. Roll out best practice sharing towards re-use.
·         Create dashboards to monitor functional effectiveness.
·         Act as content coach to businesses.

4. Brand Compliance.
·         Ensures brand consistency and actively promote alignment with standards.
·         Work with Corporate Communications to optimize standards for business needs.
·         Ensure coordination and collaboration with ACS and Honeywell Corporate level initiatives.

Basic Requirements:
·         BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
·         Minimum of 5 years experience as a writer, with a track record of executing high-impact, results-oriented content for a variety of media, especially the web.
·         Minimum of 3 years of involvement with search engine optimization, content management systems, community management, blogging/micro-blogging.
·         Minimum of 3 years of active personal participation in social media.
·         Minimum of 2 years working in a consumer tech, home comfort systems, connected home and/or the internet of things (IoT.) environment.

Preferred Requirements:
·         Mix of corporate and agency experience preferred
·         Strong organizational and project management skills
·         Ability to perform in a matrix organization
·         Familiarity with Facebook insights and data analysis a plus
·         Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
·         Understanding of social media monitoring and measurement
