Description: CBS RadioCorporation is currently seeking a full-time Promotion Coordinator for radio stations WCCO AM, BUZN 102.9, and Jack 104.1.

Duties include:
  • Work directly with Sales Department to acquire all elements needed for sales promotions i.e. approval forms, copy, prizes, etc.   
  • Administration of all department paperwork inclusive of contest rules, contracts, purchase orders and invoices.   
  • Maintaining PromoSuite database with all contest winner and prize information.   
  • Meticulous record keeping for all prize folders in accordance with CBS Radio Promotions Policy   
  • Coordination of all logistical aspects and ensures that station promotions are compliant as per legal, company policies and FCC requirements   
  • Execute on-site station/sales promotions and special events, including set-up and breakdown of promotional equipment   
  • Coordinate social media functions, including Facebook and Twitter, Instagram and any other social media and community web-based outlets deemed appropriate   
  • Enter and maintain all loyal listener and in-house prizing prize programs   
  • Maintain promotional equipment, tools, and promotion vehicles   
  • Write all on-air contest liners for on-air talent   
  • Create proposals for station prizes i.e. movie screenings, some concerts and on air prizing  
  • Handle all listener inquiries in a friendly, professional manner   
  • Provide station event recaps  
  • Schedule part-time staff and interns for events  
  • Update Event Calendar on website   
  • Assist with loading and unloading Promo Van with heavy equipment for station events   
  • Light receptionist duties, as needed   
  • Other duties as assigned by Promotion Director 

  • Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years in similar role in the media industry inclusive of managing promotions,public relations, special events. Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and Adobe required as well as strong organizational skills. Must be a self-starter,creative, multi-tasker, professional and pleasant phone skills/etiquette and have the strong ability for attention to detail and meet tight deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record required. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills required.
