RE/MAX INTEGRA, Midwest - Public Relations and Communications Manager

Job Description: The Public Relations and Communications Manager is responsible for managing and the implementation of all public relations (PR) initiatives for RE/MAX INTEGRA, Midwest as well as executing all internal and external communications across all communication platforms, including Exact Target (email tool), internal blog, social media platforms

Key Functions:
  • Work with Director of Public Relations and Communications to best manage, plan, and implement various initiatives and ensure they align with both the organizations and departmental goals
  • Manage and coordinate the various regional public relations efforts and needs
  • Act as a regional point person for all public relations efforts, working with Director of Public Relations, Regional Director, various regional staff and PR agency
  • Exercise thought leadership around all PR efforts, helping to generate ideas, ensure best practices are followed and the needs of the region and network are met
  • Manage and assist with the distribution of emails to the network, both regularly occurring and on an as per need basis
  • Manage and coordinate the ongoing regional blog and social media efforts
  • Manage the curation and creation of content for all regional social media platforms, including the blog
  • Provide communications support for various initiatives for other departments
  • Professionally manage internal and external calls and email communication with membership, vendors and existing partnerships
  • Ongoing research and awareness of new trends, best practices and various supporting tools that will assist with the success and growth of all communication efforts
  • Manage regional reporting metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and an as per need basis
  • Assist with preparation of materials for Director of Public Relations and Communications
  • Other duties as defined by the Director of Public Relations and Communications
Required Skillsets:
  • Post secondary education
  • 3+ years experience in communications and public relations, PR agency experience preferred
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Organized, detailed, goal-oriented
  • Good knowledge of communications and social media best practices
  • Strong creative writing abilities
  • Basic HTML coding and understanding of email management tools (i.e. Exact Target)
Salary: $50,000-$60,000USD depending on experience.
